Jim Buesgens notes:
1.)Sauk Rapids- Just blanked Cold Spring 7-0
2.)Rochester Royals- Beat my #3 Coon Rapids last friday
3.)Coon Rapids - Has beaten many top teams A and B. Lost a tight one to Sauk Rapids.
4.)Blaine- Ten runned Shakopee recently. Play a tough schedule.
5.)Savage- Ten runned a good PL team.
6.)Mankato-Not much info about them but gotta think there in it
7.)Chaska-Beat Shakopee but then recently lost to Chanhassen or would have went higher
8.)Shakopee- Always tough. Hate to rank this low because i know they finish strong but different format for state may hurt them
9.)Red Wing - Not a ton of info here but heard they are tough as usual
10.)Burnsville- Played Savage real close losing 2-1. Again good tourney last year.
Tom Elliott’s note:
1). Sauk Rapids Cyclones. Sauk Rapids beat the Cold Spring Springers 7-0 and are pounding the heck out of everybody.
Jamie Heipel’s notes:
1) Sauk Rapids ( may be here awhile)
2) Dundas ( Pitching goes along way)
3) Rochester ( hitting their stride)
4) Shakopee ( tough to have a target on your back)
5) Coon Rapids ( tough schedule/ nice wins)
6) Cold Spring ( 2nd best team in their league)
7) Savage ( young team growing up)
8) Burnsville ( good team in an underrated league)
9) Miesville ( loss of key players shows)
10) Red Wing ( Solid team all around)
Bnbaseballguy’s notes:
It is getting harder and harder to rank. Teams are playing a lot of games and if you go by who beats who and play the old seven layers game East Bethel could be number one. Sauk Rapids deserves the number one spot because of the teams and pitchers they have beaten. Not many teams get 7-0 wins over the Springers with Femrite pitching. They beat Coon Rapids and are cruising along in their league.
Red Wing won their tournament this weekend and Victory was second to the Minnetonka Millers in their tournament (it went extra innings). Starting to get down to the time when every team wants to take things seriously.
