Class B Baseball Rankings

Here are my Class B rankings for the pre-season.  There are only 34 teams in Class B right now so almost a third of the teams will be mentioned.  Here goes:

1)      Shakopee—two-time defending champs and no let down this year.
2)      Sauk Rapids—getting better and better—adding a couple good players.
3)      Austin Greyhounds—play everyone--added at least five players from the Blue Sox.
4)      Miesville—went 14-0 in CCVL last year but didn’t make the tourney.  Something to prove this year.
5)      Cold Spring—always good.  Improving after Femrite.
6)      Savage—getting better every year—this might be their year.
7)      Mankato—any team with Jay Nessler on it will be good.
8)      Hastings—good pitching—up and coming players
9)      Coon Rapids—have been good for a couple of years—might go somewhere this year.
10)   Moorhead Brewers—a lot of experience—second in C last year.

That’s it for this week.  Remember these are my rankings only.  By next week, I will try to have a team of experts (or at least a few guys from different areas) to help me decide who the best teams are.  If you want to help rank B teams, contact me at bnbaseballguy@gmail.com.
